Allotments

Allotments

This is like winning the lottery, I have looked for this past 3 years and I still get the same reply from land owners NO, we need our land for other things, like what say I knowing full well what the answer will be.

This morning the good people of Kingsteignton have formed them selves in to an Allotment Society even if they have no allotment.

There were some very good questions to me like why, when, not bad for a Sunday morning.

So watch this space and see how they get on.

That was the good thing, but why oh why do I go and read the Sunday papers, dear god is there nobody in Westminster who is honest and straight with us.

We had in the week Mr Ainsworth saying that he could not send any more troops to Afghanistan as there was not enough equipment for the troops, and I have just read that we may be not be invited to the next G4 meeting, what that says for the state of this country.

The Irish have voted, so what is in store for us as a nation, the loss of 1000 years of our history.

This is a question that you must ask all those nice people who will come knocking on your door and promise the earth, just quiz them hard, and if they walk away with red faces you will know.

The disgraceful way the young soldier was treated when out with his mother;

This young man has lost both legs and his right arm, these loud mouth louts should be made to go to Headly Court and face the brave men and women who have lost limbs and been mentally scared, or be conscripted.

I sat through a lecture where we listened to case histories, about these poor young men and girls who come from broken homes, dear god what did we have in the second world war, husbands away for years wives having to cope on their own, but those children did not abuse wounded  service personal, as they would have had a good hiding, oh I forgot I can't use that word, no we had too much work in allotments and gardens, if we wanted to have food, but it is just there with no regard to how or where it comes from.

What will these brave soles do when there cuts in the utilities in this coming winter?
