When I see the desecration of the Cenotaph, plus the damage to property, it is time that these people who think it is their right, must be brought to justice, and no soft touch.
To think that young man can just say sorry and think he can get away with it no, he must be punished by having a criminal record and not just him but all the other perpetrators, why should they get away with it.
These are supposed to be intelligent. Then we hear that some who are at university are having trouble in being able to spell or add up, just what is going on in education these days.
Why were there underage children on this march, just what were the parents thinking, and the organisers must have known there would be trouble.
It has been said in the news papers this morning that people from other countries were part of this trouble, their embassy should be called in and asked to pay for the cost of clearing up, that might shift a lot of people.
Why do these students think they are immune from this mess of the last government, it is going to hurt but we just have to work through.
To the other point that has me getting hot and mad, and that is is a politician saying that immigrants to this country are Hero's just stop that they are not, what have they put in to this country answerer nothing just take out
but there again it was her doing that got us in to this mess, and when she states these people are in her constituency, well lady we know why.
The word hero is banded around, this is a word where it has been shown that the person has given great sacrifice, so stop using that word in a situation that dose not warrant it.
I had been shopping in a local store near here, when passing couple were arguing about money, he just said in a loud voice, we are going to get the kids a PlayStation and we will give the bailiffs what is left, how can anybody in that situation be thinking of the children. I suppose it is easy come easy go. not their money but the tax payer in benefits
TB is said to be coming back with the influx of immigrants coming to this country, who are positive to this disease, when we no longer vaccinate against this awful disease. In the years of my nursing we worked hard to eradicate and we did, but now we have it back, who is going to save the young people from this.

There is no money
How does one get through to people that we are in the red up to our necks, and yes it is going to hurt,so why are there so many people expecting to carry on living in the same style.
Who am I talking about the people who smash up other peoples property and just walk a way, wake up Sunshine it was those politicians in the last government who put us in this position, you who are supposed to be university students do you not have the mental faculty to work this out, it is called living in the real world.
To see and read what these radical people are saying about the men and women that serve this country,to burn the poppy, if it had not been for all those men who lost their lives in the First and Second World wars, they would not be alive, so just stop and think that if Hitler had marched through the world a lot of you would never have been born.
Looking at world events and the total intolerance from one sect to another and they call it religion.
There are a lot of very senior church leaders who could and should speak out to their followers.
If I for one should go out on to the streets and say the most awful thing about others, I would soon find my self in jail, so why not others.
We are all to blame in this awful state we are now living in, so chin up and get thinking how we can get out of it, and organise our personal family lives.
Please look in to the TV to night to see the amputees reach their goal of running and walking across America, then think on to what I have been talking about, they are not crying in their beer or smashing the place up, no thinking about their mates in the front line and the casualties that are taking place as I am writing

Who is living off the tax payer
How about this for a head line, as thousands of families face benefit cuts, one woman who's never worked a day in her life has invested hers in a £4,500 boob job.
Then goes on to state she has taken holidays abroad, plus all her 6 children have all the up to date play things, plus she has furnished each bed room with flat-screen TVs, what do the fathers of these children contribute to their care, no I expect they are on the dole.if not why are we paying.
not content with that she also admits she has run up a debt of £10k.
No wonder this country is so much debt. There are a lot of mums who need this not the likes of the above.
Tell me how is the Chancellor going to bring this country back in to the black, when we have parasites like that.
The people I feel sorry for are the mums who will lose out, having paid their taxes and cared for the family.
I do hope that all these people can be found and made to work for a living. As for all the other people who live off the tax payers, we will be looking at you, and if possible charge you for the money you have taken fron us.

Who is running this country
Why do I ask that question,on reading the papers and listening to the news, the people who are in charge of Unions are say that if the cuts are imposed they will bring this country to a grinding halt.
My question to them how are we going to get out of this awful mess that their friends from the last government left us in.
I have not seen any ideas being put forward by them, when you think how much they earn and the houses that they live in, one thinks of not in my back yard, are they worried the tax man may wake up and sent them a letter, you can bet your sweet soul that will not happen to them.
We have too many people coming to this country and taking jobs that have been refused by Brits, they will not do the menial jobs as was shown on a programme on TV.
Just cast your minds back to the end of the second world war, when this country was on its knees, the government had to in port people from the West Indies to do the unsavory jobs.
For goodness sake lets have some common sense, and get this country working together.
We have seen the benefits cheats,it is time that that was stoped, as I have written in past blogs, and my comments on the number children in any one family.
It was so nice to see 60k people turn out for Help-Heroes, pleased it did not rain on them, nice to see people enjoying themselves.
We have our Army Benevolent show on the 25-26 September here in Kingsteignton I just pray that the weather stays fine, so please if you are in the area please come and join us, fun for all the family.

Make your VOTE Count
How low do we have to sink when we have nursing staff standing in for doctors, this is care on the cheap.
How is it some know how the postal vote is going, has this count taken place!
I asked months ago will the service men and women be able to vote, to be told yes, guess what the Volcanic eruption in Iceland is being blamed for the papers not getting out, so it will not be possible for them to have their democratic right to vote, how long have we known that an election would take place, think when did we have a flight ban, well yes all answers on a post card.
When are we going to be given our right to vote on staying in the EU, it is time that these people who are making gross sums of money was stopped.
As soon as this future government is in then they should set about and letting us vote in-or-OUT.
Just think of all the money we would save, might even get some way out of debt, do you think that the Labour party will pay back the money they received form the sale of GOLD, that also would swell the coffers.
There must be a stop of immigration to this country, plus all benefits paid to people who have not paid any tax to this country, why should my hard earned money go to support somebody who should not be in this country in the first place.
If child benefit is to be paid, then to a child it should go, not on booze drugs and fags and night clubbing, if people can do that then go to work then you can spend how you like.
How many more babies and young people are going to be hurt or killed, there is no reason for women to have children in this day and age, especially when incapable of looking after them.
I am sick of people saying I know my rights, fine but what have you done to the person you have just hit, or pinch from as shop something you have not paid for. Speaking to a senior citizen the other day she said bring back the stocks or the birch, that might make them think, oh said me what about their HUMAN RIGHTS sorry I can not print what she replied to me, but you can come up with the answer.
All I ask you to do this week think who is going to tell us the truth, remember that young man who was all things to all people, do we need a repeat of that. Just look at the mess he landed us in.

Such fairy tales
Who is telling the truth, and who is telling little white lies?
I am getting letters from so called friends, friends, you should see them run when I approach them.
Last year he had the nerve to tell me of all people about injured service personal, and what injuries they had injured, and how he had been on the front line. Some how I can not see the senior officer on the ground letting them out of the camp, it would be mayhem.
By the time I had finished with him he run so fast that my friends were in fits of laughing, well what an ass.
I am now getting letters saying dear friend, do I need to tell you what I have done with them.
It is a good job that a certain contender for number 10 was not near me when he had the nerve to say we had no call to express the saying WE DID WIN THE War. I should know I witnessed the Fire of London, when we had bombs and V2rockets plus Doodlebugs, so young man you have never had little to eat or have to wear second hand clothes, that was due to rations on all things.
We lost a lot of families and school friends.
You sir have never given time, or to serve this once Great country you don't know the meaning.
If only politicians would keep out of the NHS and let the medical and nursing staff run them, do away with all the so call managers, who have no idea what the meaning of care is, just look at the staffing of incomers who can not speak English, so look out for death by care.

Now She wants £ half a million
WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THE UP KEEP OF AN EX FEMALE SERVICE Lance Cpl.
When one joins the Army you are told in no uncertain way that you serve the Queen and country.
I agree with the former senior officer in that this Lance Cpl has betrayed all women soldiers who believe in duty.
In this day and age there is no excuse for being pregnant, it just show the total disregard this young women had for the service.
Now claiming a massive sum of money, that other service personal who have received injuries do not get this amount. I could say a lot about this but it would not be polite.
She should not get a penny, as the Army had offered her choice postings with care provided, and she turned it down.
It was her choice to have a child, The Army is not a child minding service, we are a fighting force, and that is what these civilians understand.
She left the army and that should be the end, she had a choice and she had a child, where is the father? I suppose she is claiming all the benefits on offer.
She has done such a disservice to the Army, should we turn away all females of child bearing age, think of that young service women who was awarded the MC, if she had not had the guts to go to the aid of an injured soldier he would have most likely have died.
This person left the army her choice so there should be no compensation.
How much has she received from the news papers for her story and picture?

Do not touch me my skin split
Please do not touch me my skin may split.
I have just been reading about two Royal Marines who have been punished for hitting a Taliban suspect with a size ten wellington boot, but this so called person who was in the act of planting a bomb.
I am just wondering what planet I am on for gods sake, why not give a reprimand.
Question why did the marines who were said to be in the tent not show them selves when a senior officer and NCO came into the tent?
If a prisoner is loose not cuffed in a tent what would you think, it was said he was standing what to eat his food, how far were the marines who were in the said tent from this man, sorry we may not no the whole storey, his injuries were not serious.
If I had just lost three colleagues who were blown up by IED, just think, what this so called Taliban fighter was caught doing.
Have we brought to justice anybody who has killed or injured our own service personal, I think you will find that is a big NO.?
What has this so called justice shown to the world, not this cruel justice of loosing a pension and lives destroyed?
Question you should be asking was this a political statement to the Americans!
Guess what he was let go by the Afghans and can not be found, what that tells you.
Nursing Uniforms.
We have had a lot of press reports of a nurse here in Exeter who has lost her case, in wearing a cross around her neck.
I can't stand to see sloppy dress and any form of jewellery when attending patients.
When attending a patient how that nurses carry out duties like washing a patient when she has her sleeves down, or don't nurses wash patients any more, or carry out other personal duties on patients.
Just think of a patient who is distressed due to their medical condition, then grabs at the nurse and pulls on their chains bangles, what would the hospital do sue the patient for distressing their staff.

Questions need to be asked
Wounded troops'£40m Charity boost.
Question for you Sunday morning readers, what happened to the military hospitals? In other words were they sold off for housing land so what has happened to the money?
Why am I asking these questions I am just reading that troops wounded in the line of duty received a £40million boost from military charities last night?
If you remember in one of my last letters I said we were holding two events to raise money for military charities. Tell me what would have happened if the injured had not got up and worked hard like doing the marathon or climbing mountains to raise money for others.
They talk about building centres for the rehabilitation units if so on what ground who owns that ground, what did I say about military hospitals yes they were on Government owned land just give it a little thought, and you hear some chancellor rubbing his or her hands.
When you think of all those MPs and their nest eggs, that money could have gone to the troops.
That is another thing you ask that all embracing person standing on your door step. Oh dear I am lumbering you with so many questions to ask but you need to know where the money is going, your hard earned money.
It just shows how much this government cared about the troops, just think of one person who is a millionaire ++ from some oil work, remember what I said be for about becoming rich become an MP.
I will have a bear called Sgt Braille working with me for the August and September shows, this bear with the other 12 all wear cap badges of the regiments and Corps.
I will have the honour of having the cap badge of the Royal Engineers with Sgt Braille, he will have a large bucket with him to raise money so that injured service personal can have a holiday and families who have lost husbands can be looked after as well.
I will have to keep a record of his tour with us so camera to hand I might just get you if you come to our shows.

You should stand for Parliment and become rich
Well I never just look at the money we could make.
I am just looking at the head line "MPs and Peers run private company selling influence over Government policy'
Dear god why did you elect these people, it would by rather rude to write what I think of these people.
Think of all the money they have gotten by fair means or foul, it makes me even angrier when you think of the pensions these people will pick up on leaving their cushy job.
I know you will say that not all MPs are on the make, sorry one bad apple condemns the barrel.
If somebody is under stress and can not do the job they were elected for then resign, and let another person stand and take the seat.
All the election hype is making one sick, all the talk of what Mr Brown will do, if that is the case why are we in such trouble. Who is able to rectify and bring this country back into credit? One must ask all who come knocking on your door how will their party bring us out of this horrible mess.
It was very sad to hear injured soldiers story that help is not getting through, and then to hear the person responsible say that £45k had been put in the pot.
Think how much money has been raised in the H.4.H there must be thousands, where is this money and what use has been made of it?
These are valid questions that the public must ask after all it is public money.
May be some one could let me know.
We are in for turning off the tele and radio and just trust our own thoughts.

We have a duty of care for Service Personal
Why do I say this, well they have given their lives for their country, Most have injuries that will be with them for the rest of their lives.War is not a game of toy soldiers, how do we care, by charities set up and raising monies so that care can be given.
We also care for the families of service men and women.
The Army Benevolent Fund was set up at the end of the Second World War
As the Soldiers’ Charity, we provide vital financial help to the heartbroken families of those lost and the hundreds of soldiers who have suffered psychological and physical injuries whilst serving our country.
The Army Benevolent Fund works with fellow charities these include SSAFA, Royal British Legion Army Families Federation, the British Limbless Ex-Service Men’s Association, Combat Stress and the “Not Forgotten Association.
Wars that our troops have been involved in include Korea, Egypt, Malaya, Borneo, Falkland, Iraq, Northern Ireland and to the present time of Iraq and Afghanistan.
I with a group of people we are fundraising for the ABF charity and the Help for Heroes,
These events will take place in August and September.
The first one is held at Old Forde House on the 14-15 August, other charities will be at this show, the theme is the Classic Cars.
The Second one is to be held here in Kingsteignton at Bellamarsh.
This is for the ABF Devon; all monies raised will stay in Devon. The theme of this one is the Rock-an-Roll years, and there will be prizes for the best turned out costumes, date for this is September 25-26. British Classic car’s and motor bikes, plus Tanks. There will be lots of thing to entertain all the family.
Please come and support us in our work.

The insult to the Armed Forces
What did you do in the war daddy?
Please daddy what are your medals for, well son I did a dangerous thing I went to tell the troops they have never had it so good.
My god what are the service families must be feeling, with these MPs getting a medal for going to Camp Bastion.
The mendacious statements being given out at the Chilcot inquiry when we have seen other people give their version of events, with just a few in denial, men and women have died for their country, but did they die for their country or just a few men who had their own agenda i.e. OIL.
To think that the Prime minister flew to Afghanistan after giving evidence to the inquiry saying he had given the Army what equipment it needed to fight, but just hold on a minute the Chiefs of Staff are saying differently, that they did not have enough equipment.
No senior Officer is going to speak out unless there are good grounds for it, their job would be on the line, and as we have seen good senior officers have resigned over the inadequate equipment on the ground.
If the people of this country return the above to high office they will be showing the military their lack of care.
Why should the service personal die when all they get is substandard weapons?
I and a lot of other people in this country will be working their socks off raising money for Service charities, if you are wondering why we need to raise this money, please phone up your County Officer for the RBL or Army Benevolent Fund Safar, and you will find just one Officer plus a very small office worker.
Just ask them what area they cover. Mind you there some out there who do not know how to look up phone numbers.
Having just said about the Military working on a shoe string have you heard what the MPs need.
To start with a salary of £100.000k plus child care, dear god what planet are we on.
Here in my own Town when a small business closes leaving local people out of work, the impact is felt with in the community, these people were not earning large wage and jobs are hard to come by, it must be a smack in the face to learn what these aspiring MPs require.
I pose a question do we have a statute law in this country. Or are we governed by the EU courts, was this some thing that Mr Blair gave a way with out our knowledge.
I think this marriage of 13 years must come to an end, please think you are going to be paying for their mess, just ask them what have you done with my pension when their pensions are safe and secure, do not be fooled by all the clap trap of I will save the world what about us.

The time has come
The time has come when we must leave this EU club.
When have we be given a choice as to say if we wish to stay in this EU club,
We are being taken to the cleaners in the money we are giving out to people who have no right to be here.
When many people who have worked hard all their lives, find their pension and savings amount to very little, that is making them very angery.
There are a lot of local young people who would like to have a home, but they are on the bottom of the list with these people being given priority.
In the last decade we have seen the quality of life descending to the pits, all these MPs what have they done for you, have they made sure that their constituents have been cared for.
So please when they come looking for your vote just ask them what they are going to fight for, is it some one who has just come to this country or joe blogs who has worked or served their country.
Will you make sure that they keep their word?
What will this country do if Argentina invades the Falklands? Will it fight or just give in. Just think how the men who were injured in that conflict how will they feel some are still having problems; time in some cases is not a good healer.
Please tell me do we have a legal system, what is the law UK or that other place, do we have no control on who comes into this country, that ladies and gentlemen is for you to decide when you go to vote.

Just think whats round the corner
Pass the tissues dear
With all the cold and snow is it my imagination that so many people have eyes streaming when speaking on television.
I for one have had three months of coughs and looking like something the cat dragged in but I do not have to stand for election in the coming months, so please pass them a box of tissues and blow your nose please.
Would you like a state of the art room when you go into hospital, yes well here is a small room with no windows your bed will just fit in don't mind the staff when they come for equipment at all hours, you would think I had just made this up but no it is a fact.
In my day a treatment room was only used as its name states, not a general store cupboard.
Which brings me on to the war in Afghanistan; there has been much talk about a big push that is to take place in other words a mother of all battles, which will bring about many casualties and deaths.
Then one reads there is shortage of beds back here in the UK for returning injured troops, just what is going on when you know what is going to happen why has no one not earmarked a number of beds plus the staff to man them, I for one just wonder what planet I am on.
Who was it that closed the military hospitals, somebody needs their eyes tested plus an IQ test, and does no one think and use common sense these days.
These young men and women who are serving this country deserve the best medial treatment that we can give, not a broom cupboard.
When I see these football so called stars and the money that they earn and people talk about bankers, just look at the press photos being taken in Dubai, I am surprised that no one has complained about their dress code in a Moslem country.
Have you noted that this country has been thinking about helping out Greece with their money problems excuse me do we not have a massive debt to pay off. All I can say is thank god we did not go in to the Euro just look how it is sliping.

That one raised finger
What do you think?
Did you note the finger that rose in the air, it struck me like a naughty word, like up yours, and mind you I could be wrong especially when the grieving families where sitting behind him.
When you listen to some one like that saying I would do it again, would he put his sons in the front line some how I think that is unlikely don't you.
When we go into conflict training takes place, remember that he did not allow the Generals to under take this, plus the equipment was just not there.
The thing that has cheered me up is reading about Professor Bowring is he is planning a prosecution against Mr Blair based on last weeks bombshell evidence to the Chilcot Inquiry.
Professor Bowring says the revelation that the government rejected Foreign Office warnings not to invade Iraq.
Having said that what is the betting that he squirms out of that too, when you think of all the population of Iraq that have been killed, and we wonder why they hate us.
I have just spent the last 45 minutes listening to the Soldiers DVD, how nice to listen and not be screamed at I could even hear the words clearly, so please if you have not heard this please go out and buy it, as the proceeds go to help for heroes.
I note that MI5 is saying that terrorists are now going to have bombs as implants, must say it will soon be difficult especially for women who have breast implants, golly just think of all that money being blown up.
During the week it was said that we do not have enough troops, and due to this the death toll will jump, may I suggest if this war in Afghanistan is going to last for years that we have conscription, now that takes the breath away, if our politicians are intent on this war that will have to happen.

The state of this Nation
Who is in charge of this country?
You may well ask, just look at all the gossip coming forth form all the people who have made a lot of money from spin, who is to be trusted so far as politics are concerned.
Now we see a book coming out from the man who ran the Labour party, it looks like rats fleeing the ship.
Why do we have to wait until May for an election, for gods sake get this country on an even keel, get people in to parliament who can sort out this awful mess that we are in.
These cleaver men or women who are in charge of making sure that this country can function in bad weather, why six day's does it not happen on a Sunday. When you look around and see the streets and avenues is it no wonders that people can not get to work.
I have said about the person writing a book about his time who ran the Labour party and then tell me that a young man who is a TA Royal Marine who in his own time has written about his time when he threw himself on to a Taliban grenade, to save his comrades.
He did not just write this book but asked his CO for permission to do so, and then sent the book to MOD's D-notice to make sure he was not revealing any secrets.
Remember this man has the George Cross, not given out lightly, and the MOD said he had to pay them around £90k, remember he wrote this book in is own time, not receiving any money from them. Please tell me how one can make a lot of money but not him, just makes you think and reinforces my call for a general election to take place.
Why is Lord Mandelson in charge with the Queens golden jubilee and just who is in charge of this country.
Oh have just read that the man above is to get a BP job after the election, watch this space to see if this comes true.

Pavvy Lambert
My cat lost his fight with cancer
This is about my cat called Pavvy, he was a two year old who had had his back leg broken, on the first meeting at the Blue Cross centre, he just stood out as a young cat who had a lot of up and go.
That was in 1993, so for the last 15 years he has been a constant delight to have around the house.
One would never have thought that he would be able to jump and climb, but he did, would race me to the post box and back.
All though he was neutered, that did not stop him from fighting any other cat that had the audacity to come on to his patch, I caught him standing over some poor cat which was on its back with Pavvy spitting at it, having said that he was very affectionate and liked to cuddle up on ones lap especially when reading the newspapers or a good book.
When I was out at night for council meetings on arriving home he would just stand and look with the question where have you been.
This is what is miss when you do not have a cat, on my cupboard is a magnet saying a home is not a home unless it has a cat that is true in many respects.
Coming home after a trip to Australia we picked him up from the cattery and the first thing he did after having a drink was to pick up my flip-flop and shred it, after that he was his charming self.
He was there for me when I had my marriage break up, that is when you appreciate that funny but loving cat...
He went to sleep on Thursday when I called the vet, he had a nasty cancer but he kept going until it over took him.

Snow and Ice
Who is responsible for this weather?
Come on who wished for a white Christmas, you can tell us our lips will be sealed.
I should have said happy New Year to you all, having spent the whole holiday in bed with no breath and coughing like an old pipe smoker, and being a non smoker it is rather ironic plus no voice to even speak to my sister.
What with the weather and the silly season taking off, all of the parties blaming each other, when we know who has been in power and in charge of our money, I think they think we are so daft not to have put up with this last two years, we are so in debt I do wonder how it is going to come right.
What are your views on the proposed march in Wootton Bassett, I for one hope the police stop it; there are a lot of law biding Muslims in this country who are upset by this group who call themselves Islam4UK.
If these men are allowed to desecrate the name of the war dead then they should leave this country and go to another Islamic and see how they would be treated.
Please tell me why he gets benefits, having said that what about all the other people who have come to this country and the first thing is to claim benefits, with this massive debt that we have to pay back, this surly must be stopped.
Only allow people in who can prove they have a job and money.
If I could go to another country to live I have to prove that I have money and that I would not become a burden to my hosted country.
Why not ask the men and women who will be knocking on your door for your vote that same question because I will and I will let you know the answer.
I hope you stay warm and free from these rotten bugs that are going round.
