History Has Been Made

Historic event has been made in America, this new President to lead his country is aged 44, the youngest one so far, but to be born of mixed race, that is a major step for that country.
I do hope that care is taken to protect him and his family, in that he does not suffer the same fate as President Kennedy.

He has pulled his country together, by his oratory and passion for the need for change (oh boy do we need that in this country), when was the last time we had a massive turn out at the polls, sorry I have been a round a long time, but I have never seen or heard of it.

What will his thoughts be on the ongoing war in two countries, which lets face it, anybody who has tried to win in Afghanistan have been beaten, so why are we there (drug trade) perhaps the leaders of this country could tell us the truth, please do not hold your breath, I would hate you to pass away. We could say the same thing about Iraq.

I do hope that President Barack Obama can bring to this world cohesion with all religious faiths, when did you last see that happening, now that might be one of the first steps forward.
We are all waiting to see how he will pull the States through the financial debacle, and get back on track.

He may think of the little people and not tax them to future generations like this country has.
I look forward to talking to my cousin in North America, to see what her thoughts are on this election.

Sir, I wish you well and may you preside with truth, humanity and honesty for your country and the wider world.
