The loss of Savings and Pensions.

First thing this morning the sun was shining, good I thought get the washing done and put out side to dry, not so next minute the rain came lashing down, I sat down to read the Sunday papers, should have done the washing.

What did I find, a couple who had worked hard and each week put by a sum of money, this was for a rainy day, what has happened is that they have lost £200k, as they had put the money into one place, in stead of spreading it out.

People who have saved and paid into pension funds, now find the amount they expected is down to a pittance.

To crown it all Lloyd's are now in trouble, and we the tax payer will be bailing them out.  So who do you trust with your hard earned money that is the question.

When will this mess be resolved and who is capable of turning this country round.

 

EU law will let atheists sue over crucifixes.

I had to read this twice, that means grace will not be said before meals, Where the Crucifix has been on walls for years who will remove them, and more to the point which official will carry out that task.

Will Christmas be cancelled and who will tell the children no nativity play.

I have long believed that I lived in a Christian country, but it seems that every other religion takes precedence, we are being pushed and with the state of this country, one wonder where we will end up.

There should be one law for all, and no discrimination, live and let live.
